The Keys 100 Reef Run will start Saturday morning  April 25th, 2009 from the Islander Resort in Islamorada (MM 82, US 1, Florida Keys). This race replaces the Hogs Breath race of years past. Several boats are already in position at the resort, to start on this forecasted 80 mile sled ride to Key West.

Live tracking on the internet will be provided by TopoFusion.com for teams equipped with SPOT Satellite Messaging Units. SPOT units can be purchased at most West Marine stores and need to have tracking activated.

Registration will be on the pool deck at the Islander resort, after 5pm Friday, April 24th, finger food provided. Registration continues Saturday morning by the Watersports building.

The finish is at Smathers Beach in Key West. Turn left at the "T" arriving on Key West, and follow A1A to the south just passed the airport. Metered parking is available just off the beach. Remember to bring quarters.

Awards for the Keys 100 and 2008 endurance series will be made at the Grand Key Doubletree Resort by the pool deck at 7:00pm. A limited menu will be available at discounted rates at this event. Left over funds from registration will supplement the meal cost. Sailors will be asked to provide the number of attendees for the meal at registration.

Boat Storage will be available at Islander Water Sports in between Miami-Key Largo and the Keys 100 and in between the Keys 100 and the Tybee 500. Contact Dennis at Islander Water Sports for more information.
