Cuban Youth Sailing Cultural Exchange PDF Print E-mail

The Cultural Exchange planed for Saturday the 13th November 2010 is designed to further the sailing skills of Cuban Youth Sailors. To better understand the information learned during the class room session and to experience what it is like to compete in Catamaran regattas against World class sailors, the decision was made to have significant numbers of catamarans and experienced sailors present, hence the size of the contingent proposed to sail to Cuba and back for this event.

This Cultural Exchange program will be the first to deliver such in depth first hand knowledge and experience to Cuban Youth sailors on the art of sailing fast, light, and maneuverable beach catamarans.
There are two parts to the program.
