1. series events
The endurance series will consist of four long distance races.

The tentative races are as follows:
Apr 25–26 – Keys 100- Reef Run (Key Largo to Key West)
July 25-26 -- Gilligan's Run (Daytona Beach)
Oct 31-Nov 1 -- Hiram's Haul (Melbourne to Sebastian)
Dec 12-13 -- 25 Annual Key Largo Steeplechase (Key Largo)

2. number of events scored
The highest points from a maximum of (4) of the (4) races will be scored. Ties will be decided upon by the standard US Sailing method. A score of 0 will be recorded for any series event not sailed. A score of 1 will be recorded for any series event started but not finished.

3. team scoring
The distance series will be scored by team. Entry into event automatically enters teams into the series. Team names will be taken at event registration. 

Minimum points for first place will be 8 points. Scoring will be based on overall Portsmouth results. Points will be awarded in reverse order based on the number of qualified starters.

i.e. 15 boats 1st = 15 pts, 2nd = 14 pts, …. 15th = 1 point

If there are not at least three teams who did not start four races, the team with the next highest number of races sailed will then be included in the scoring until the top three places are determined. Teams with more races will place higher than those with fewer races excluding throw outs.

Anyone may form a team. The team boat may change from race to race as long as it is under 22 feet and conforms to event rules. The team sailors may change from race to race.
